Karo Swen: The Artistry and Athleticism of Poledancing

Submitted by on March 25, 2015 – 1:15 pmNo Comment

The first three words that come to mind when I watched Karo Swen perform were strength~grace~beauty. In the span of 2 minutes and 56 seconds this French Pole Dancer shuts down any Stigmas attached to Pole Dancing with her gravity-defying moves.

From dizzying and gravity-defying spins to upside down splits, to her inverted aerial drops this pole dancer has taken what was once a deeply stigmatized profession and elevated it to an awe inspiring athletic art form. One day, it may find its way to the Olympics.

For a brief moment, Swen steps away from the pole to perform rhythmic isolations and as you watch her body flow in time to the music, you get to see just how tone dshe really is. Seriously, her muscles have muscles.

When she’s not practicing and perfecting new moves, Swen like to keep active by playing various outdoor sports. Swen also enjoys travelling.

To date, almost 5 million people have seen this video. Most shower her with praise, but a few are like it’s not like she’s curing world hunger.

To all the naysayers and negative nancy’s out there, quit being armchair critics and dedicate yourself to something like Karo Swen has.
