A-trak Loves to “Push” Boundaries That Are Both Musical and Societal

Submitted by on January 16, 2015 – 11:13 amNo Comment

Dance music crown holder A-Trak adds another jewel to his catalog of boundary-pushing music videos with his latest creation “Push,”.  “My approach to dance music has always been a bit left, so the last thing I wanted was one of those sparkler bottle ‘lets make this night live forever’ videos,” says A-Trak.

A-Trak is always in the forefront of breaking down barriers and blurring the lines, not just societal ones, but also in the music industry. When asked what his inspiration was for this video he gave us a little peak into his mind. “…I wanted to make something with the opulence of a rap video, but shot like a renaissance painting. It’s kind of like Eyes Wide Shut meets Burning Man.”

Starring A-Trak, TM88(808 Mafia) Directed by Ramon Ayala
