Toronto’s Nuit Blanche – One night, all night, all free

Submitted by on October 10, 2014 – 10:43 pmNo Comment

_MG_3605Describing the event known as Scotiabank Nuit Blanche in a sentence or two is tough. It’s a night of art, street performers, lights, friendship, and everything you can possibly imagine – and some times, things you couldn’t possibly imagine.

The night-long festival that originated in France started on Saturday, Oct. 4 and ended in the early morning of Sunday, Oct. 5. Patrons could ride the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) all night until 4 a.m., increased in length from the usual 1:54 a.m. cut off on Saturday nights.

The vast amount of acts and attractions can’t be listed, but you can visit Nuit Blanche’s website to get information on all acts and performers, as well as exhibitions and a full coverage map.

Below, you can see an exquisite photo gallery from the night, and have fun trying to match between the two!
