Tara and FefeToronto’s pop-rock diva Fefe Dobson destroyed the Revival Bar’s Stone Lounge in Toronto during Canadian Music Week.

Dobson was headlining the Feldman Showcase which included a litany of bands and performers including Scott Helman, Craig Stickland, Francesco, The Boom Boom and then finally Dobson closing out the scene – with special guest guitarist Tara McLeod of the Ontario metal syndicate Kittie.

_MG_9429The Juno Award wining singer is proof that big things come in small packages. Playing hit tunes from her previous album Sunday Love which was responsible for her Juno winnings, the crowd was loving her and going wild for her stage antics. She also won three CRMAs in 20120 including Chart-Topper, Fan Favourite and SOCAN Song of the Year.

She also played a few new songs from her follow up album Firebird released this year. Song after song was a hit with the crowd, especially her newest single “In Better Hands,” and there was no downtime during her entire set. Even when she was conversing with the crowd she was keeping it live._MG_9325Dobson draws her inspiration from iconic female role models like Joan Jett and The Runaways, and exudes that rebellious rock persona.

The new album is full force example of Dobson’s burgeoning career, and represents her best work yet. She looks so comfortable on stage now, and is proving to the world why she’s quickly becoming one of pop’s female ambassadors. Even behind the scenes, she’s been writing tunes for the likes of Miley Cyrus and Jordin Sparks.
