Animal Confession consider a tag like retro-fitted hard rock not constructive criticism, but a compliment. The Ottawa-based trio have in a short time created a healthy buzz in both hard and experimental rock circles, drawing comparisons to the likes of Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails and Tool.
