Mother Mother have an attraction to the strange

When Ryan Guldemond was asked a time ago what the likelihood of Mother Mother seeing stadium stardom was, the lead man for the band answered honestly. “It’s likely not gonna happen because I don’t know if we’re ever gonna curb our strange tendencies.” In this MartyrTV exclusive, Guldemond and Jasmin Parker (keys, vox) explain why that sentiment remains the outlook for the five-piece collective. Despite the success of the band’s last album Eureka and its latest, The Sticks, the Quadra Island band – headed by brothers Ryan and Molly – remains as quaint as a small town and as close as a family.
