“Say I” a sign Saukrates’ new album set for shelves

It seems odd to think – with all the material Saukrates has produced, rapped on and recorded over the years – one of the godfathers of the Canadian hip-hop scene has only released two full-length albums, Brick House and breakthrough 1999 opus The Underground Tapes. His much-delayed (huge understatement) and hotly-anticipated third offering, Season One – which features some of  hip-hop’s finest (Redman, K-os) in rotation, is finally set to hit shelves on April 24. “Say I” – a song used in Nike’s Always On campaign with Montreal Canadiens star P.K. Subban this winter – marks the third single from Season One.
