Casual sex with MDD proves a sick and twisted affair

The pride of Norwood, Ontario, My Darkest Days took the new-metal world by storm when they released their 2010 self-titled debut on Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records. Singles like “Porn Star Dancing,” which featured Ludacris, and “Move Your Body” cemented My Darkest Days’ position as Canadian new-metal princes, and even made believers out of traditional indie cats like Alan Cross, who called Sick and Twisted Affair, the second My Darkest Days disc, one to watch when it’s released in late March.  While “Casual Sex” doesn’t quite pick up where “Every Lie” left off – and the video may very well be the highlight of the first single off the band’s highly-anticipated sophomore offering – here’s hoping Cross is right and Sick and Twisted Affair is further proof that the world does belong to My Darkest Days.
