New Saukrates single signals Season One in ’11

The highly anticipated second studio album by one of the north’s top tier rappers, Toronto-based MC Saukrates, is looking like it’s readying for release, as Big Sox has unveiled the album’s first single “Drop it Down,” featuring long-time collaborator, friend and business partner, Redman. Released on iTunes in July, the single has just this month been framed by a video that is as colourful and sporadic as the tune itself. While Season One has yet to be tagged with an exact release date all sources indicate 2011 will be the year Saukrates drops the follow up to his hugely successful 1999 opus The Underground Tapes.
