BP sells off Canadian assets to pay for oil spill
Author: admin | Filed under: Issues, NewsBritish Petroleum was forced to sell off of some Canadian assets in order to pay for three-quarters of the cleanup from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. BP has so far sunk $3.95 billion in an attempt to save both its stained reputation and the Atlantic Ocean, just shy of the $3.25 billion it got from Apache Corporation for its stake in natural gas operations in British Columbia and Alberta.
