Gob Has An Announcement
Canadian pop-punk pioneers Gob are thrilled to announce an extensive Coast-to-Coast Canadian headlining tour this fall. The month-long tour will kick off in Kamloops on October 7 and will wrap up with a show in Vancouver on November 7.Tickets for the tour will go on-sale on Friday August 21.
After a 7-year hiatus, Gob returned in 2014 with their energetic sixth studio album Apt. 13. The album garnered acclaim from fans and critics alike and landed the band a Top 10 track at Canadian rock radio with “Radio Hell”.
Formed in Langley, BC in 1993, Gob is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Tom Thacker, vocalist/guitarist Theo Goutzinakis, drummer Gabe Mantle and bassist Steven Fairweather. Over the course of their career, the band has amassed JUNO nominations, has had tracks featured in countless movies, TV shows, video games and sporting events and has made massively popular music videos for singles like “ I Hear You Calling” and “Give Up The Grudge”. On top of all that, Gob has kept legions of loyal fans packed into mosh pits in front of the stage at countless venues – from dive bars to major stages around the world.
