James Michael of Sixx:A.M. talks “Modern Vintage”

Submitted by on October 4, 2014 – 11:47 pmNo Comment

sixxam-5019ffdbe27b0The multi-faceted producer that is James Michael has many accolades on his resume. He’s produced many big names and worked with several greats of our time. Today he’s spread his wings and truly embraced his “creative exploration,” as he puts it. Sixx:A.M. is three friends brought together by music. Nikki Sixx, the former bassist of Mötley Crüe, DJ Ashba, lead guitarist of Guns n Roses, and the aforementioned singer/songwriter James Michael.

The three have accomplished more than enough in their musical careers, but use Sixx:A.M. as an outlet to escape from their day jobs of being awesome in other musical projects – something to truly call their own. While in Toronto doing press for their new album Modern Vintage, Martyr’s Devin Size had the chance to catch up with Michael in his hotel room after a long day of press around the city. He didn’t want to leave his bed, so we didn’t force him to, but he was still more than willing to answer some questions for our fans.
