Crimson Shadows to tour Europe – with your help

Submitted by on August 13, 2014 – 8:19 pmNo Comment

CrimsonShadowsband-e1407599643723Crimson Shadows, one of Canada’s most prominent and current epic metal bands, has set personal records far and wide in the past two years. Now they want to keep climbing, but they can’t do it without your support.

As frontman Jimi Maltais explains in their latest crowdfunding video, they’ve established themselves in the worldwide metal market by recording a full-length album finally, touring across Canada in support of said album (to be released Sept. 9,) and were also the 2013 Waken Metal Battle Canada winners, and won the entire thing in Waken, Germany – one of the most prestigious titles in metal, period.

Their success as of late has everything to do with their dedication and personal motivation to constantly strive for higher ground, both as a band and individually as musicians. Although they’ve garnered great outside support by being signed by Napalm Records, and their guitarists being sponsored by Washburn – it’s still never enough.

Last year they had to cancel a prominent U.S. tour with Battlecross, due to problems at the border – money wasted, money they didn’t have. Now they’ve set up to do their first ever European tour, with none other than Scottish pirate metal legends Alestorm, but, they need your support.

Watch this heartfelt campaign video from the band, straight from the horses’ mouths about the financial struggles of living out a music pipe dream in 2014, and then do what you can to support this great Canadian talent.
