Toronto – Kill The Noise – he’s about to be there

Submitted by on April 20, 2014 – 9:46 amNo Comment

Kill The NoiseKill The Noise is on tour once again, and the Toronto leg of the tour is coming up, he’s playing at the Kool Haus on Saturday, May 24.

Jake Stanczak, better known by his moniker Kill The Noise, has been making waves in the EDM and producing world over the last decade. He’s revolutionized and created styles that no one’s conceived until he threw it down, and he’s been an influence to many over the years.

Now, he back once again with a fresh new offering that differs from anything he’s spun before, he’s washed up and through the ringer, and Toronto’s about to get a taste of the new produce.

Hailing from Rochester, N.Y., he co-owns the label Slow Roast Records with his partner DJ Craze and the music is distributed through Fool’s Gold Records – a leader in the electronic movement.

Kill The Noise started as a drum and bass producer in his early years, circa 2003, but his style is ever-changing and constantly evolving. It wasn’t long until he made his name a household one, and he’s now slaying festivals, tours, and remixes with the biggest names from Skrillex to Ducksauce, and even Korn.

Ever since Skrillex signed him to his OWSLA label, rumours have been spreading like a virus about an overload of new music that’s about to come from Kill The Noise, so I don’t even know what to expect from this show.

Stanczak has always been known for pushing the boundaries and limitations with original creations that colour outside the lines, but what separates him from others, is that he never stops. It’s one risk after another and he’s never satisfied, and that drives his new beats and flavours.

He has a wide range of production value and genre blending talents, with a stage presences that blows most DJ shows out of the water, this is going to be one for the books you won’t want to miss.

We’ll be there, will you? Stay tuned for awesome photos and coverage.
