An easy target for haters of all creeds, new metal bands attract trolls like front yards. Bands like Papa Roach, Hinder, Nickelback – to name but a few of the few who tour and live off the genre successfully – are daily inundated by angry, slanderous electronic messages from haters world round. Enter into this arena My Darkest Days. The band, which finds its origin in Norwood, ON, was destined as much for stardom, as it was bred for war with the trolls. In this Martyr TV exclusive, My Darkest Days delve into how they deal with haters, the importance of ballads in rock, and their new album, Sick and Twisted Affair.
