Ten Second Epic drop the gloves with group of tykes

Submitted by on March 25, 2012 – 3:31 pmNo Comment

In what may be the most Canadian video of the year to date, Edmonton blue-collar rockers mix it up on ice against a team of tyke players in a winner-takes-all style hockey game. Directed by Ben Knechtel, the video for “Better Off” follows the boys on team Ten Second Epic (Andrew Usenik, Daniel Carriere, Craig Spelliscy, Sandy MacKinnon, Patrick Birtles) as they train for a heated altercation with their rivals – the CH. The CH group of tyke players deal with a serious beat down, on the scoreboard and the ice, as Ten Second Epic prove altogether overwhelming for the youngsters. The title track from the band’s late 2011 offering, “Better Off” is the second single off the third full-length album from Ten Second Epic.
