The anatomy of a good night gone bad

When thousands took to the streets of downtown Vancouver on June 15 in anticipation of the night’s Game 7 Stanley Cup final, the mood of the crowd was at first jovial. As can be seen in this short photo essay by the ever esoteric T1000, the cops and crowd went from high-fiving each other to squaring off much like the Bruins and Canucks had on ice earlier in the night. Unlike the hockey game, no winner emerged and no Cup was won.
